Forest City is a city, but also a forest. We are not just returning the city to the forest, we are bringing the city and the forest together. Green vegetation will cover the buildings, the ground will be a park, and greenery will be everywhere you look. Every day, people will live in gardens, breathe in forests and enjoy nature. The forest city will realise the intensive use of land and sustainable ecological development, achieving another revolutionary breakthrough in solving the disease of modern big cities and integrating cities with industries.
Smart Cities
Forest City is using ‘smart city’ technology to build a network of information resources for the city of the future, where all urban elements will become one. Any individual in the city, including individuals, enterprises, buildings, equipment, facilities, and even goods and services, will be given a unique network authentication identity and become an intelligent, cooperative and organic whole through the full integration of the Internet. The Forest City is planned to be 30 square kilometres in size, comprising 20 square kilometres of reclaimed land on four islands, 10 square kilometres of golf clusters and a construction industrial park, and is planned to be developed and constructed over a period of 25-30 years.
